SENIOR ACQUISITION MANAGER **hands on** STRATEGIC ROLE (MP)

For their Czech business we are looking for a Senior Acquisition Manager, based in Prague. This role will contribute to the further, significant growth of the business. 

As a Senior Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing and negotiating real estate opportunities. Using and growing your network of contacts, your focus will be on identifying new potential land and buildings to acquire and grow the company´s business portfolio.

It is essential to be hands-on and self-starting, comfortable with managing multiple projects at the same time.  As a true commercial mind, you build and maintain your own relationships and network, while continuously looking for new business opportunities.

What’s needed in order to be successful in this role:

• A strong desire to seek out and identify acquisitions opportunities
• Source and evaluate new Real Estate opportunities and recommend investments
• Grow and maintain quality relationships with agents, land/site owners, and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. local authorities).
• Be a team player, helping and encouraging colleagues, sharing information, and being demonstrably focused on the whole team’s success
• Understand planning application processes in Czech Republic and together with vendors and Project Management team to manage the planning application process to obtain deliverable planning consents.
• Lead on-site meetings to acquire new opportunities or to market and pitch for new asset/site acquisitions.
• Provide reporting, market and other relevant information to various internal practice groups, including Acquisition, Disposition, Capital Partners and Valuations.

Tell us if you are ready

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Land Acquisition Manager in real estate development or investment firm
• Experience in negotiating and structuring real estate transactions
• Excellent understanding of Czech commercial property market, including strong contacts within Property Agencies, Landowners, Occupiers, and Local Authorities
• Fluency in English and Czech/Slovak
